Conference hotel rates have been negotiated for eChallenges e2011 delegates and accompanying persons in Sheraton Firenze (conference venue), which is 5 kms from the city centre.

Accommodation is both limited and expensive in Florence in October. Discounted rates are available to conference delegates for a fixed number of rooms in Sheraton Firenze.

Conference hotel accommodation should be booked online as part of conference registration to avail of the rates outlined below. There is a limited number of rooms available at each price point and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis.

Delegates are strongly recommended to book accommodation during July and August. Hotel accommodation can only be confirmed upon receipt of the associated payment.

All pricing includes Buffet Breakfast and City Tax. Conference delegates are responsible for any incidentals incurred during their hotel stay and this will be dealt with directly between the hotel and delegate upon check-in.

Confirmed hotel bookings can be cancelled in writing up to 04 September at an administration charge of 20 euro. The hotel will charge two night's accommodation as a cancellation penalty for cancellations notified between 05 and 23 September. No refund will be provided by the hotel in the event of cancellation after 23 September or in the event that a delegate does not arrive for check-in. It is possible to move accommodation already booked to a replacement delegate. Any changes in accommodation bookings should be notified in writing to secretariat@eChallenges.org
